Hi all,
I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature request. So I try it here:
When a notebook is sorted by title special chars like the German “ä”, “ö”, “ü” are placed at the very end of the list e.g.
wasser
zweifel
äpfel
Is this a bug or a feature?
My request is to handle special chars like normal char e.g. ä => a while sorting notebooks:
affe
äpfel
bett
Regards,

Yes that’s a bug, I’ve added one issue about it: https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/issues/2445

In the outside world, sorting order is language-dependent. The ä comes after z and å in the Swedish alphabet. What are the plans for Joplin in this respect?

The current versions for macOS (1.6.6) and iOS (10.6.2) solves the problem for me.
Thank you for the awesome work!
