i found the sort feature... so all thats left is it being 'visible' (the sort items - date, name etc) 
It's available in the latest pre-release 3.0 under View => Note list style => Detailed

As a Evernote user since 2008 I can finally say that I've found a notebook that cover what I need based on this change (and what has been done before of Joplin). I've been trying different solutions the last 5 years to try to find a alternative to Evernote, but has failed every time. Thanks! Brilliant.
