What issue do you have?
I'm trying to understand how fonts work in Joplin. Mostly, I just want a normal body text font, and another, fixed/monospace font (Courier New) to denote Linux commands/output. I don't want the monospace font to be the default body text font, I want the other one to be the default.
I copied some text from Keepnote, and pasted it into Joplin, and it comes out basically perfect. However, since apparently out of the box, there's no way for me to just highlight a certain portion of text in Joplin and change its font features, I'd like to know the best way to get the same font and size I had in Keepnote in Joplin.
Formatting text as code changes the font to a monospace font, but also applies a gray background colour, which I don't want. I also don't understand what are the technical implications of formatting something as code versus not doing that. Frankly, every time I try to understand Markdown vs. HTML vs. Rich Text, I get very confused.
Any help would be appreciated. So far, Joplin looks excellent. Intuitive, fast, well-organized and not overly complex.
