What issue do you have?
I am in the process of migrating thousands of files to Joplin. I am planning to use Joplin on my Mac and on my Android phone, and I am using dropbox. On my phone I don't really need access to all files that I have on my Mac, and I don't want to overload my phone with GBs of data. Is there any option to select which folders I want to be synchronized? As I understand it, the philosophy behind Joplin is that users shouldn't mess with synchronization, so I guess this option deliberately doesn't exist? In this case I guess it's better to create a "backup" of the really important files, store it on Dropbox, and import those files into Joplin on my phone - which isn't as convenient as automatic synchronisation, but should be doable.
