What issue do you have?

Back in a day when OCR was introduced to Joplin to assist the search in attachments, I thought it was a good idea to click in on it. I did not realize that I will not be able to undo this action, and now when I am searching for a note, the search shows 1/3-1/2 screen in links to images/pdfs where the search results where found. This obscures large part of the note itself and is a major nuisance.

I asked to be able to show this ugly orange OCR search results screen on and off, but the development of the fix was unfortunately cancelled by @laurent.

How can I get read of this OCR search all together?

If I will save all the note folders in hex files and upload them into a new version of Joplin with check mark next to OCR unchecked, would it get read of the OCR search for the future? Any other solutions?
