What issue do you have?

Migrated Notes from Evernote are not OCR Searchable?
I seem to not be able to search INSIDE of Images or PDFs that contain Images, even though I can access and open their OCR Text through "View OCR Text" command. But that OCR Text doesn't seem to be searchable. What can I do to include the OCR Text in searches?

I actually think - The problem is that the OCR Data comes from Evernote, it's viewable in Joplin, but I dont seem to be able to include those OCR data in Search. But I also can't find any switch to include that OCR data in my Search. The Files I am referring to are all Text Based images / PDFs - not handwritten.. Is there a Way to make JOPLIN re-OCR everything somehow ?

I can suggest two ways worth exploring:

  1. Disable and re-enable Joplin's own OCR feature in settings/general. The new parsing might take a while (hours).

  2. Export all your notes as JEX and reimport them (eg in a new profile). Afaiu with this method, from the pov of Joplin, it will be like regular notes, Joplin would not have a way to know they ever were Evernotes at some point earlier.

You could quickly test method 2 on a small subset of your notes to get a fast answer.
