Search List should be able to sort myself

When searching in notes, and many entries exist, Joplin sorted these entries in a predefined order: What Joplin thinks is most imortant comes first.
But for me it would be very helpful to sort myself the search result. - In many cases I want to have the newest entries at first.
This would help finding the needed entry much faster.

You can use the created and updated qualifiers in search, as documented here:

For example:

  • created:day-2 created in the past two days.
  • updated:year-0 searches all notes updated in the current year.

Thanx for the tip.

But this doesn't help that much, when I don't know _when_ the entry is added. But I want to have the newest search entries on top. In other words: I want to sort my search result by at least by date.

I am quite new to Joplin (coming from Evernote). However if there is one feature I miss it is this sorting function for the search results.

Reading through the forum here my impression is that many people like to have this feature. Is there anything how we can push this from the user demand?
