What issue do you have?

Apparently some recent update added a bunch of dark boxes in the Markdown editor if you have hard-returns in indents. I explicitly don't want this, but I can't figure out a way to disable it. Is there any way to turn it off?

@ZorbaTHut welcome to the forum.

The Markdown editor was recently updated to a newer version. I believe that the quickest way for you to get the editor to the way it used to look would be to revert to that editor. It is now referred to as the "Legacy Markdown editor".

Tools> Options > General > Advanced > Use the legacy Markdown editor

Aha, yep, that did it. I did kinda like some of the other color highlighting, but I'd rather get rid of the boxes.

I'd love it if there were an easy way to make CSS edits, but I couldn't even get the feature working properly, and I have no idea what I'd edit - it is unfortunately not very discoverable.

Thank you!
