Origin of the name

Just found this random note from 2016 where I thought about various names for the app. I think "jot-it" and similar already exist as a note taking app that's why I didn't go for it. It could have been named "scott" though, apparently.

I'm surprised I had a name so early though because based on the commits it doesn't look like I had any app running at the time.

Speaking of people names as a name for app, "Laur Notes" has a charming french nod to the founder and would be pretty easy to find (it's short too) in contrast to famous musicians and common words. Yeah, I get it might look self-centered but at this point it's only fair to acknowledge the credit of the founder.

Disclaimer

I get this post wasn't a prompt to propose new names for the app and even if it was, my suggestion doesn't address the problem of different pronunciations in various languages. I just like toying with names and languages to get a quippy and interesting combination

Looks like Laurent wrote down ideas for the name of the note app he wanted to make in a note app created by his future self

I'm pretty sure this note originally was written in Evernote then imported
