I think it's worth me mentioning this window issue here as it seems relevant to the discussion -

Feature Request: Multiple Windows

An issue with multiple windows and dual monitors. I have Joplin on my left hand monitor and when I open a note in a new window it opens on the right hand monitor, rather than over the top of the application. Moving it to where I'd like and re-opening it or another note doesn't cause Joplin to "learn" the position of the window. There's in fact a similar problem with Joplin itself.
