What issue do you have?
Hello everyone,
some weeks ago my Windows 10 client motherboard died and so I used the situation to switch to linux for the first time. I have installed Linux Mint (Ubunto).
All my documentation about my home automation in home assistant was stored in OneNote.
So I'm searching for a tool to work with this documentation on Linux Mint.
I opened the onenote documents on my corporate laptop (glad that there is still a Windows client available for me to do this) and exported it as described in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgYcLZsw0IA&t=2s to a .onepkg file. There was no option in local O365 client to export to .zip.
Then I tried to import it in Joplin but I get the error message
"failed to load @joplin/onenote-converter. Please check that the onenote-coverter package was built correctly and bundled with this version of Joplin."
So it seems "my" installed version is missing the onenote-converter. As the "normal" Linux mint software repository had no Joplin available (in GUI tool), I installed it over Bazaar.
As I'm a full Linux newbie - what do I have to do to get the onenote converter?
(and if I miss a similar question with already an answer in this forum please link it, I tried the search function but didn't find something)
Thanks
