What issue do you have?

About the TEMPLATES plugin...

"GitHub - joplin/plugin-templates: Create templates in Joplin and use them to create new notes and todos."

I tested all the built in variables: no problem.

=>

BUT...

With custom variables : nothing happen...

Created note (I was asked nothing)

But this thing works:

I see no difference !!!

=>

Maybe using 3 "-" with no space between and avoiding the line button...

In this case the strange behavior after the last "---" (bold thing and no more second line) is not a problem...

It remembers me: "Markdown Editor : the text becomes enormous after a dash : why?"

In fact there's a big "micmac" between the RTE and the MDE. Caracters seems OK but there are NOT.

SO : NEVER USE THE RTE in order to create a template and DON'T BELIEVE the MDV (MarkDown Viewer)

This is OK:

NO MORE HELP NEEDED. Thank you.
