NXT CLOUD / MAC OS / iOS Issue

Hi there,

I have set up Joplin on my Mac and synched it with my Next Cloud. All seemed fine until I installed the iOS app on my iPad. I put in my credentails, but this seems to have caused a problem, which generates the following message on both computer and ipad:

Created remote items: 14.
Completed: 09/11/2023 14:39 (54s)
Last error: Error: PUT .resource/c4c7232e127c460d42d8e5ea9732e2f1: Unknown error 2 (503): 503 Service Unavailable

Service Unavailable

Apache/2.4.54 (Debian) Server at SERVER ADDRESS Port 443

(Note, I removed the actual server address as otherwise I couldn't post this topic.)

Or, it just keeps synching without resolution say ing:

Created remote items: 1

My system information is copied below.

Any advice on what exactly is happening would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

CJ

It says "Service Unavailable", how can it be related to Joplin? You need to check your server logs and fix it on that side

I've checked and it is nothing to do with the server.

To take it one step further, I set up a new sync folder for Joplin and it now works correctly, as it did before.

It is something to do with a conflict created when I synched my ipad with the same folder on next cloud.

As far as I can tell it duplicated lots of the items.

Re doing the steps (with the same settings except targeting to the new folder) seems to have solved the problem.

With thanks.

The app may trigger the issue, but the issue on the server. We handle all 4xx errors but 5xx we can't do anything about it since it is a bug on the server.
