What issue do you have?

It seems like this topic had been discussed before, but all the topics I read about it is unclear if whether or not this is A) a bug or B) if it is a bug, how to fix it. The title of the post pretty much sums up my problem I have long titles for notebooks and notes, and they get cut off/don't wrap around.

Anyone know how to fix it, or what the status of this issue is?

Here are a few of the resources/CSS workarounds I tried. None of the CSS I found and messed around with worked;

Thanks kindly if you could help me out.

I don't believe anything has changed, except maybe for the specific CSS styles that need to be edited. This means that a) wrapping text in Notebook list can be done, and b) it is impossible to wrap text in Note list without causing issues with scrolling and disappearing notes at the bottom.

I know it’s not ideal, but now that Joplin desktop has multi window support, you could stretch the note list out to almost the edge of the screen, then to view and edit notes you can double click them to open a new window (annoyingly it does not start maximised or remember how you resized the last window though).

Or if you don’t like that, you can expand the note list temporarily while you navigate notes and need to see the end of a longer title.

Thinking about this again, I think there may be a possibility to achieve multiline titles in Note list view if you use the Joplin Plugins - Note list (Preview) plugin and tweak it with custom CSS.

Still struggling with this as well. Users with non wide monitors (either small monitors or portrait large monitors) will keep struggling. Not everybody has the option to have a wide monitor. ¯\(ツ)

If you use the Note Tabs plugin you'll get a tooltip with the full note title when mousing over a tab (this only helps with the title of the focused note though, not the note list)

This trick with the Note Tabs plugin is actually very helpful! Thanks.
