Newbie here. Question about importing lots of files

Hi All, I just purchased Joplin Cloud Pro. And I installed Joplin on my Linux laptop and my Android phone. I entered in a few new Joplin notes and the Joplin Cloud Sync (JCS) seems to be working as expected. Cool. Joplin notes and changes are syncing between my laptop and my phone.

I’ve got 1,500 Evernote notes and my .enex file size is 300MB. If I import this enex file into Joplin can JCS handle the sync? Or will importing this many notes choke and likely crash JCS?

I’ve got a good internet connection. About how long will JCS take to sync a 300MB enex import?

What can I do help make sure JCS doesn’t crash or choke while syncing my 1,500 imported notes?

All 1,500 notes are in one single Evernote notebook.

If I can get this sync to work, then I’d like to be a long term Joplin subscriber using Cloud Pro.

Some people have imported tens of thousands of Evernote notes without any problems, so the process is generally reliable. If something goes wrong, for example if a note cannot be imported, please report it here and we will look into it.

Synchronising to Joplin Cloud should be fine and relatively fast. For mobile, just make sure your device doesn't go in sleep mode during sync
