I hope you're all doing well. I recently set up Joplin Server for my note-taking needs, and I've encountered a puzzling issue that I could use some assistance with. As an enthusiastic Joplin user, I'm eager to get this resolved and continue using this fantastic tool effectively.

The problem I'm facing is as follows: When I log in as an administrator (using the admin@host account), I can see all the items on my Joplin Server. However, when I create a new user account, they can't seem to view any of the items, even though I know that items have been successfully uploaded under their account.

I've checked the permissions and made sure that the new user has sufficient rights to access the items. I've also tried waiting for synchronization and re-logging in, but the issue persists. I've double-checked the client settings to ensure that items are enabled.

I'm reaching out to the community in the hopes that someone may have encountered a similar problem or could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue. If you've experienced something similar or have any insights into what might be causing this behavior, I would greatly appreciate your input.

I believe that when logged in as Admin all you can see in the "items" section are the files that have been synced using the "Admin" account itself. Not all users. When I access my server as admin this list is empty as I do not use the Admin account to sync as you cannot promote another user to admin. Therefore if there is a problem with the account you cannot delete it and start again. A long time ago, before Joplin Cloud and when Joplin Server was being heavily tested, all users had the ability to see a list of their stored files and could even delete them . As Joplin moved out of early testing this was removed and user level accounts no longer had the "items" tab in their account area. So what you are seeing is not unusual, users cannot see a list of their sync files on the server. However for some reason this has been retained for only the admin account but serves no apparent purpose.
