Instructions How to encrypt notes:

The plugin is not available to download in the app yet, so you have to manually install it: Go to GitHub - CapZhang/joplin-plugin-encrypt-notes: joplin config and download the code with the green "code" button.

open the zip file on your PC and Copy the publish/File_encryption.jpl file to your computer

Import the plugin with Joplin in the menu: Tools/ options/ plugins/ click the settings icon/ install from file/ open the "File_encryption.jpl" file

Restart the app and you should now have a lock button in the top right menu. Open any note and click the lock button to encrypt or decrypt.

You cannot modify an encrypted not once encrypted, you will need to decrypt and then re-encrypt
