I've just moved to Joplin from Zim and it's a big improvement.

One thing I miss however, is the navigation on the left syncing with my current sub-notebook (in Joplin terms, in Zim these were called pages). That is, if I'm in a particular note, I would like it to show me that note's notebook highlighted and scrolled to in the left-hand pane, so I know exactly which sub-notebook I am in when I arrived there from search/Goto Anything and have already clicked. I hope this makes sense.

Is there any plugin that will do this?

To answer my own question I've now found this:

You can actually do this via built-in Joplin functionality manually via shift + ctl S.

Just in case anyone else out there has the same workflow as me, or is otherwise interested.
