What issue do you have?

I've just started using Joplin (on Win 10) and have started creating notes, notebooks and tags. After being away from Joplin for several days, I've just discovered that nearly everything has disappeared -- all that's left is what I created the last day I used Joplin.

I have no idea what I may have done to delete everything I had previously entered. I still don't know enough to discover what happened to my entries. Any suggestions on 1) how to restore what disappeared and 2) how to avoid this happening again?

Some questions:

  1. What sync target are you using?
  2. Are you syncing with other devices or just on your pc?
  3. Have you created any profiles in Joplin or just use the default one!
  4. Could you share a log file? This is available at the following path: %home%/.config/joplin-desktop/log.txt
