Hi, newbie here.
Notes have location data on them, but I am failing to understand how this can make the notes viewable on a map. I am guessing this is not a feature within the software and one needs to export the data and import it somewhere else to do this?
From the note screen press the menu button in the top-right corner, select Properties. There will be an option to open the associated location on the map.
Evernote used to have a map like this where you could see all your notes and zoom on them. It was quite nice but unfortunately they've removed it:
Perhaps that could be added as a plugin in Joplin.
