Just wondering if the Joplin Linux AppImage can be made aware of system shutdowns and so shutdown gracefully? It is just that for me Joplin starts upon login and stays running until I shut down the system. Since the automatic creation of crash dump files was introduced my home folder starts filling up with crash dump files. It's not every time so I guess that it occurs if Joplin is doing something when the shutdown happens.
It is not a great problem as I just delete them. I was just wondering if it was limitation of AppImages that they crashed rather than shut down when the system broadcasts a shut down message or whether they could be made "shutdown aware"...
I have Joplin configured to Save Files to the local Username / Joplin folder on my Laptop. I have browsed thru all of the sub folders and do not see any error messages at all. When I do a shutdown, it exits just fine. I do not have it autostart, I click on the AppImage to start Joplin.
I can confirm. There is a new crash dump file every 3-5 days at my machine. It would be nice to have an option to suppress them or to not create them in first place.
