What issue do you have?

Very often, I've been getting a Keychain Not found Error.
" A keychain cannot be found to store "[a-f0-9]{32}@joplin"
This error pops up on my screen and it prompts me to either cancel and Reset To Default. When I select the option to Reset to default and it gives me a warning saying it will delete all my save passwords, key and certs -- out of desperation, I opted to proceed with the rest and after I supply it with keychain password, moments later, it comes back. This happens frequently every few minutes making it unusable.

Here is the corresponding error message from log.txt

2024-03-26 09:11:10: RevisionService: "collectRevisions: Created revisions for 1 notes"

Error: An unknown error occurred."

Is that the exact error message or is there an actual string before @joplin?

Does it still happen if you disable the Backup plugin?

And do you use a password for the Backup plugin?

Thanks Laurent, I didn't type the exact text but it was 32 characters long followed by @joplin. Since I posted the query, I rebooted my macbook and that seems to have cleared the issue. I must confess I did delete few entries from keychain related to another application (Microsoft) to resolve an issue but that might have contributed to the instability.

I will watch this today and see if the issue surfaces again but so far it looks promising. thanks again.
