Jump to note in list after adding title

I moved to Joplin from Evernote a while ago. Pretty much all my notes involve pasting an image into the note, and that's it. My work flow is like this: Add the URL for the clipping from newspapers.com to the URL field. Copy the clipping (image). Paste it into the note. The note title is then some {random string of characters}.png. Change the note title to what I want, then add tags.

After changing the note title, the focus in the notes list on the left stays at the top of the list (or wherever it was), instead of following the newly re-titled note (as it would do in Evernote). Perhaps I've missed a setting or a plugin that will allow this, but I'd quite like to have this functionality working in Joplin. Is that possible?

One possible adjustment might be to press shift-tab (or ctrl-shift-l) after changing the note title. This moves focus to the note list, scrolling the active note into view.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. But it would be better (IMO) if it just happened automatically.

If you need more focus:

For me the focus on sidebar is important. It's easy to use with a function key (I use [F9]).
And I have the same opinion than you for an automation (in my case focus to sidebar when changing of note...).
