One of the things I am trying to use Joplin for is as a journal. I title my journal entries with the date for easy sorting, so e.g. the title would be “2019-10-14 (Monday)”. I am finding that Joplin will sort the Note List too quickly based on a partial title as I am entering it, so as I type it sorts on the 2019 to scroll the notes list down to the first entry for 2019, 2019-01-01, and then ignores the rest of the title as I type it, so the notes list does not then scroll back to the top, where the new entry will appear when the title has been full entered. It is just a bit disorienting. I suggest the note list not scroll until the input focus has been switched away from the Title field.
