I have activated Firewalld (80 & 443 ports open, http & https allowed). Does Joplin use some special port or service that must be allowed? However it is not normal to freeze the entire OS.
I have installed via snap store other apps (Skype, etc) and everything works fine.

  1. I've reinstall the Joplin app > the same problem > freeze OS when start Joplin app.
  2. I've disabled Firewalld > start Joplin > Freeze OS.

It's due to a plugin. Which ones do you use?

Joplin plugin?
I do not use any Joplin plugin, just the app installed via snap store.
I just connected Sync via Dropbox.

This works just fine so it must be a connection issue on your side somewhere.

So is it via the snap app store or via the official script? And does the log have any information?

I remove Joplin installed from snap.
I installed Joplin via script without problems. The error was due to "Firewalld". Firewalld blocked instalation of Joplin via script and freeze the OS too when Joplin start.
Currently I disabled Firewalld ( till I find what ports are required open for Joplin and what services.

Now this is the question: What ports / protocol use Joplin? And what services, to can whitelist them.
