When you share a note, it is already private in the sense that the URL cannot be discovered or guessed. The URL is the password in a way, and as long as you share it over a secure channel (such as WhatsApp or similarly encrypted message) it should be safe.
Maybe later there will be an option for an actual password, especially when note sharing will work alongside E2EE.
