What issue do you have?

I get the "You are running the Intel version of Joplin on an Apple Silicon processor..." Joplin window header message. Downloading the "M1" dmg file (Joplin-3.4.12-arm64.DMG) & installing (drag install) doesn't change anything. And of course Joplin runs miserably slowly emulating the Intel hdw. This occurs on both my 2023 MacBook Air/M2 and 2024 macMini/M4. Rebooted but nothing changes. This certainly seems a known problem, but apologies that I have not been able to find anything to guide me on the forum.

Problem solved - pilot error. I’d forgotten that I had Joplin and my profile running off an encrypted volume and it was on THAT volume where the Joplin app needed updating. Oops.
