It appears that most recent Joplin for Mac is using an outdated version of electron which has been reported to slow down macOS Tahoe. When are you planning to update it to the most recent electron release?

Tested via https://gist.github.com/tkafka/e3eb63a5ec448e9be6701bfd1f1b1e58 it turns out that Joplin uses Electron 35.7.5 (Contents/Frameworks/Electron Framework.framework/Versions/A/Electron Framework), an Electron version that "_is overriding a private AppKit API (_cornerMask) to apply custom corner masks to vibrant views_" (see https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/48311#issuecomment-3332181420)
The specific Electron versions that contain the fix for the issue are v39.0.0-alpha.7, v38.2.0, v37.6.0 and v36.9.2 🙇♀️ (from https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/48311#issuecomment-3332181420)
Please update the underlying Electron version.
