Is there an update with the Templates plugin?

Today I was shown in Joplin with an update for the Templates plugin. Checking for a change log I got confused.

The plugin’s page at Joplin Plugins - Templates shows a version 3 available.

Following the links for Homepage and Repository on that page i am directed to GitHub that only shows a version 2.4.0 (2023-05-27). See plugin-templates/CHANGELOG.md at master · joplin/plugin-templates

Can someone clarify my confusion and try to explain the mismatch.

Since the supply chain attack on the NPM ecosystem I am more suspicious and no longer do unverified updates.
As I am still new to Joplin I apologize in advance if I made a mistake with my analysis.

The changelog was not updated, but the documentation on the plugin website is up to date, so you can refer to this for the supported features.

Edit: I've removed the Release tab to prevent any confusion

Thank you for the clarification.

Oh wow, I just spotted that it had been updated.

Thanks so much @laurent and @shikuz for your hard work getting version 3 over the finish line and released! :tada::purple_heart: I look forward to making loads of cool templates with all sorts of complex logic in them now :smiling_face_with_horns:

(And apologies neither myself or Nishant got round to adding that documentation many months ago, eternally pressing real life issues as always )
