Hi I'm Andrew, a CS sophomore at UCLA. I'm planning to work on real time collaboration project. I've just gone through the guidelines and wanted to ask if the pull request is mandatory for this project. As this project has to be implemented from ground up, I'm thinking of writing relevant code and linking it in my proposal.

Hi, if you can it's best to submit a pull request. Otherwise some code related to the project you're interested in might work too, but let us know about it.
