Joplin is the best note-taking and management software I have ever used. Many thanks to the developers. I have been looking forward to updates, hoping for a better editing area. However, after updating to the latest version recently, I found the editing area has become even narrower. So I would like to put forward my suggestions together (as shown in the picture). I wonder if there are other users with the same needs. Could these features be added in future versions?
Honestly, I'm not sure what is exactly going on in the screenshot, because Joplin by default does not look like that (see the screenshot at https://joplinapp.org for the default layout).
I can only say that the bottom tag bar being too tall is a bug only present when setting the application language to Chinese. There is an open issue about it on GitHub somewhere.
I use the operating system's "Full Screen" facility to allow Joplin the whole window without showing the Title Bar. In my case it's Linux, but I imagine a similar function would be available in Mac and Windows?
You can hide the both the Sidebar and the Menu bar from the View Menu. I don't remember if they have default shortcuts, if they have you use those; you can add your own preferred keyboard shortcut in any case. That might be an easy way to get more space for your editor?
Hope that helps a little.
