How to view list of unsynchable attachments after dismissing banner

Operating system

Windows

Joplin version

3.7.0

Sync target

Joplin Cloud

What issue do you have?

tl;dr
I'd like to see the list of attachments that couldn't be synched. I dismissed the banner that said "Some items cannot be synchronized", so now I can't see which files. Error given was that they were over 100MB, which shouldn't be the case because my Evernote subscription limited me to <100MB. Besides, I thought Joplin had a 200MB limit?

Details:
Jumping ship from Evernote. Exported all of my notebooks (8,000+ notes, about 8GB of data) from Evernote on my Windows desktop, installed lastest Joplin desktop app (don't know the version number, but probably the latest and greatest), imported the ENEX files, left for a few hours, and seemed to be successful.

Fast forward a few days, and today I installed the iPhone app and tried to do a sync. When it was done, I got the "Some items cannot be synchronized" error, clicked on it, and saw about a dozen attachments that allegedly were over 100MB, even though Evernote never left me upload anything bigger than that anyway. Plus, I thought Joplin's limit was 200MB? Without knowing the info would go away, I dismissed the banner on my phone and now I can't get back to see the list of what couldn't be synced.

I then opened the Joplin web app (website) on a different Windows desktop and tried to sync. This time, only 4 attachments threw the error, which is odd that it was fewer than what my iPhone threw. That time, I did take note of these files.

But why the discrepancy between file errors between the two platforms? And why is it saying they're over 100MB when I shouldn't have anything that size (because Evernote never let me go over that size)? And what of Joplin's 200MB limit? And is there a way on my phone to find out the dozen or so files that didn't sync?

Thanks for any help.

How did you dismiss the banner? There isn't a way to dismiss it as far as I know, so if it just disappears and does not come back then it means the issue has resolved itself.

Note however if there are sync errors, if you go to configuration, tools, synchronisation status on the mobile app, it will show the sync errors at the top if there are any, on this screen. On desktop there is also a synchronisation status screen in the menu.

I just clicked on it and it went away, and it's still away. But the issues are not resolved – at least one of the attachments it said it couldn't sync is still broken. When I click on the link to the attachment in the note, it says, "Unsupported link or message: joplin://[id]. Error: Error: Item not found: [id]".

So did you check if anything shows on the sync status screen?

If nothing is shown there, then it seems like the originating device did not upload the attachment, rather than their being a problem downloading it.

On my phone, sync status shows "Error: 0" under attachments.

The error banner is still not showing after I clicked on it to dismiss it; I read about so many other people complaining how they can't get rid of it, and here I am wishing I could get it back so I could see which files didn't sync.

I guess I could check the originating device – that's a different desktop machine entirely. I'll do that and see what I find. Many thanks.
