How to use iframe tag and render in Joplin

Is there a way to embed an <iframe> tag in Joplin so that it can render the embedded webpage in the MarkdownIt area.
I didn't find an effective method, nor did I find a corresponding plugin.

Tags like iframe, embed, object and a few others are not allowed (for security reasons, as far as I know). In other words, they won't render. There is no workaround unless you modify the source code.

Thanks for your reply :grinning:, that's a real shame. It would be a great thing if you could set a secure domain name and restore the use of iframes so that when exporting HTML, the embedded web pages are included. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I understand the security concerns in general, but I do wish there were some kind of override for those of us who want the choice. My notebook is entirely made of markdown or html that I either wrote myself or from sites I trust.
