i recently reinstalled windows and did a full system wipe which is also the primary joplin client i used and i have it synced to dropbox
i just installed joplin onto ubuntu. how do i sync with joplin
dropbox changed their UI and i cant find the api key auth token page
my notes are now stuck in dropbox. since both operating systems dont have a copy
but my phone does. How do i resync? dropbox doesnt give me any options on ubuntu on where to put the api key. i feel like i should of exported a JEX file before doing this so i didnt have to deal with dropbox but i didnt know about that until recently. i also cant find anything on dropbox about this anywhere. pls help

You get the key using Joplin.

Make sure Dropbox is selected in your sync settings and then go back to the main interface. The first time you press sync Joplin will show you a screen containing a link to Dropbox and a space for a code.

1 Joplin

Clicking the link takes you to Dropbox where you log in and you get the code for adding to Joplin.
