How to raise a notebook one level higher?

I have Joplin 1.4.18, with Win 10 Pro 2004

I'm still experimenting with Notebook structure.

Q: How do I raise a notebook one level higher?

I had three folders thus:

  • 04Cars
  • 08Financial
  • 12Computer

After doing something, I now have:

  • 04Cars
    • 08Financial
    • 12Computer

How do I restore 08 and 12 to their previous levels?

Thanks.

Drag and drop the sub-notebooks onto the notebook above 04Cars or, if there is nothing above 04Cars, "NOTEBOOKS", the 'root' of the notebook structure.

@dpoulton Thanks for response.

Where exactly is the "sweet spot" for dragging?

Is it the tip of the pointing arrow, or the small virtual rectangle, or whatever?

That might have been the "something" that caused me to get into this mess. I possibly misjudged the target location for a dragged folder.

The point of the arrow works for me.

dragdrop

That worked fine. Thanks.
