I'm using Joplin 1.0.340 on 2 android devices with a WebDAV account from my email provider.
Everything's working fine, but I would like to know how to properly backup my data.
Until know, I have been downloading the entire "joplin" folder I've created in the WebDAV directory as a zip file, but is it the right way ?
And to restore it, putting back the zip content in the "joplin" folder would be the simplest method, but is this functional ?

I would recommend a regular JEX export. To automate this, I have written a plugin.
Since they run Joplin on Androids (i assume exclusively) Plugins are not an option.

Your approach is OK and you don't have too many options (On android is no JEX export / import available).
You can also make an EXPORT PROFILE on your android device, this export can then be copied to a desktop computer and later loaded into Joplin (But for this a few manual steps are necessary).
