How to apply strikethrough to text quickly?

Hi there,

From what I can see, you can apply strikethrough to text with the <s> </s> html tag.
Is there a way to apply this from a keyboard shortcut (or even from the command palette)?

For reference, the keyboard shortcut ctrl + B will apply the "textBold" feature to wrap text with ** **.

Not a shortcut, but surrounding the text by two tildes before and two tildes after is a common Markdown convention. This appears to render correctly in the Android app, and it's easier than typing all those HTML tags.
