How do I embed a PDF in a note rather than just displaying a link?

Welcome to the forum!

In Markdown, there is no other way than displaying a link. I use the split-screen editor, and in the right-hand screen there is the embedded PDF with a range of viewing options.

If you use the button "toggle editors" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen you can indeed access an option where there's only a link visible, not the embedded PDF.
