How can i define a syntax?

I want to define my syntax in Joplin. For example, when I type $Alex$ I want to write Alex in blue and bold. or when I type @Alexm@ I want to write Alexm@gmail.com.
How can I do it?

Thanks, it seems good. and what about styles? can we add CSS styles when defining a snippet or variable? for example, I want to use && for the color blue.
