General question about encryption in Joplin Cloud

I was wondering how the limit of "Max 10 MB per note or attachment" is enforced in Joplin Cloud when end-to-end encryption is used: I am assuming that 10MB refers to encrypted data, is this correct?

I wasn't sure which category to post this to, so please accept my apologies if this is not the right one.

Hello,

The size of encrypted data is around 1.5 larger than non-encrypted so this is taken into consideration when limits are calculated. In your example you would actually 15MB per encrypted note or attachment.
