I just enabled E2EE, I was a bit surprised when Joplin did not have either a dual entry for the password, or an eyeball symbol to reveal the typed in password. I manually typed out my password in Notepad and used cut and paste to paste it into the dialog. I’m 60 years old and my typing is atrocious and seemingly getting worse. I used a 25 character passphrase. So lots of room for error. Let alone a ‘caps lock on’ issue.
It just seems logical to force a second password confirmation or at least have a way to reveal the password so as to check it. Better yet, both.
