The last post requesting SSH support is from April 2020, so I though it might be time to ask for it again.
Background: I am using a linux server, a windows laptop and an iphone. I would like to synchronize my notes between the laptop and the iphone via the linux server.
So far, the only server application that is running on linux, is an ssh server. I looked into running an own Joplin server, but it seemed quite complicated to me to get it secured when exposing it on the internet and also getting an SSL certificate to make encryption work between devices.
SSH is far more easy to set up and to secure. I think many more people would love to easily host a notes server for their own data privacy.
I would be happy if you could consider my feature request. I would be happy to share more details about my setup if needed.
