drawing on the screen vital feature is missing here just a simple draw or a brush will solve the purpose.

That would be a great feature. I also find it obnoxious that I cannot easily attach drawings to Joplin. Currently, one can make a drawing and attach it to a note, but attachments are not editable in Joplin so I would need to upload new versions of drawings every time. Unfortunately, there is more to pen tools than just adding a pen. The current notes are .md (markdown) files, and a pen tool would require an entirely different file type. I hope Joplin can have this feature in the future, but it would be very involved to make.
This isn't actually true anymore, you can edit attachments in Joplin.
