Feat: Display a geographic map with the geolocation of all notes as pins

I miss this feature that I enjoyed a lot back in my Evernote days.

Many of my notes are geolocated. In Joplin I can see each note on a map, but there is no way to see all of them at once. Browsing a sort of google map with all your notes as pins is awesome, you can virtually travel to some past vacations or places you have been to and instantly see the corresponding notes.

Hopefully a plugin comes out one day to do exactly this.

Geographic maps in Joplin

I would like to display simple geographic maps with markers or tracks in Joplin. Ideally offline and open source. I tried to search in some directions: Write a plugin to render geojson. I managed to write some code based on geojson-to-svg - npm but obviously, it only displays the markers and not the background map. Getting the correct map section offline is way beyond my skills. Export an image from an external app (including the markers / tracks as metadata for later editing). I couldn't …
