I am thinking about creating a plugin for Joplin that will enable users to export to plain text files or markdown. My question is, is this already available and if not, can I contribute?

there's a built in markdown export (right click on a note or notebook > export > markdown or markdown + frontmatter)

Hello,

I tried to the export function because I need to export some notes in markdown+frontmatter.

Unfortunately, in

  • markdown+frontmatter : NOK. No file created in my Documents.
  • markdown : NOK. No file created in my Documents.
  • jex : It succeeds. The file is created in my Documents.

Is any fix planned ?

For MD exports, folders are created with files in them but no file is created at the root of the path you specified, which can be confusing. Please check again for created folders in your specified path.
