i updated to the version 1.0.187. yet the problem still remained. i tried one solution suggested by another post and it basically works.
my solution is to backup the folder “.config -> joplin-desktop” and then remove the contents inside:
resources folder
database.sqlite
log
log-database
when removing them, i encountered the problem of not being able to remove all of them. but i still managed to delete basically most of the content but database.sqlite. but it is fine. i then started the app and connected to onedrive again and clicked synchronize.
the app started synchronizing perfectly. but because i deleted the resources folder so it showed a horizontal bar on the top showing there are a lot of files not found. i decided to add the resources folder back to the “.config -> joplin-desktop” folder from my backup. now all pictures can be viewed properly. but the top message saying “some items cannot be synchronised. view them now” still remains at the top of the interface. i just ignore it.
maybe when deleting the folder, you can try to keep resources folder. i dont bother going back to do everything from scratch.
now my joplin notes across devices work perfectly regarding synchronizing.
