Disabling text formatting in the editor, is it possible?

Hi everyone, this is my first post here in the forum.

I would like to ask if there is a way to disable text formatting in the editor?

For example if I enter an h1 header like this:

# Lorem ipsum

the text grows larger.

Instead what I want to achieve is to keep the editor as if it were a text editor and in the rendering section the formatted text.
