I’m running Joplin on Windows. When you attempt to delete a note (right click and select Delete from the drop down), it displays a windows that says, “Delete note?”. It’s not obvious if you are deleting the highlighted note or the one you right-clicked on.
It may be more user friendly is the windows said something like, “Are you sure you want to delete <Name_of_note_here>?” (where Name_of_note_here is the actual name of the note that you are trying to delete).
