Note: This may apply to other export file dialogs too.
When exporting a note titled “foo”, Joplin will offer the file name “foo” in the export dialog. When accepted, a file “foo.pdf” is created. This is confusing.
When the file “foo.pdf” already exists, no warning is given; it is overwritten.
However, when a file “foo” exists, a dialog is given whether to overwrite “foo”. When confirmed, a file “foo.pdf” is created. “foo” is not overwritten, but “foo.pdf” is.
Let’s say this can use some improvements.
