So vim mode is there, it works great, it is possible to use joplin with shortcuts only the way I like. I can also use neovim as a external editor which would then have the feature I am asking for but I think this one would be a very convenient one.
When yanking selected text on vim mode joplin desktop could optionally copy the selected text to the system's clipboard.
